Fun, Safe...Educational!

Carrying your small(ish) child with you on your bicycle doesn't have to be unsafe, and certainly doesn't have to be a chore for you or your little passenger.  While all the seats we carry are as safe as they can be, the Bobike Mini allows your small child (9-36 months, typically) to ride safely cradled right between your arms: a comforting place to be for someone who may be feeling a little bit intimidated by their first-ever bicycle experience.  Safety remains -- of course -- the primary concern when choosing a seat for your little one, but the Mini's position in front of the rider allows the child to see the road ahead, and facilitates interaction between you.  This not only helps to keep your passenger calm and occupied, but also allows them to observe the riding experience first-hand- showing them bicycles, cars, pedestrians, and the streets we share.  They're also much more able to watch how you interact with all these big, noisy, moving objects; your example will teach them how to be a good, safe citizen of the road before they ever straddle a bike of their own!
